OF OTHER WORLDS is a skincare brand developing high-performance formulas for skin-curious consumers. After years of witnessing how the beauty industry failed to authentically reach diverse users, Simedar deployed her work experience in editorial and beauty marketing, as well as her skin service experience as an esthetician, to create a brand that didn’t shy away from the weird and disruptive.
OF OTHER WORLDS launched in June 2023 with its hero product Light Beams Barrier Treatment. The product sold $10,000 in the first week of launch and won the Best in Beauty Essence Award in early 2024.
Simedar led all creative direction, digital and e-commerce content and copywriting as well as product development and management for OF OTHER WORLDS.
